Preparations are well underway for this year’s Birmingham Dive Show at the NEC on the 24th and 25th October 2015.
DIVE 2015 organisers have now released more details on what is planned for this year’s show. Here is a round-up to whet your appetite:
NEW DIVE GEAR
Major diving equipment manufacturers, distributors and retailers take stand space at the Dive Show to keep you up to speed with the latest developments. Get a flavour by stopping off at the New Products Showcase, where exhibitors display their most significant advances.
THE POOLS
For those who don’t mind getting wet over the weekend – particularly rebreather divers – the Technical Pool run by Midlands Rebreather Diving provides a rare chance to try out unfamiliar kit under water with experts on hand.
Youngsters and the not-so-young who may not have breathed from a tank before can also try out dive gear in their own Try-Dive Pool, carefully supervised by staff from the Dive School at Stoney Cove. All you need to bring is a towel and your swimming costume.
THE PHOTOZONE
Centre Stage is where you’re more than likely to find presentations by PhotoZone experts dedicated to helping visitors hone their photographic and videographic talents. Speakers will be announced as soon as they’re confirmed.
One-to-one advice on technique and equipment will also be available in the PhotoZone from British Society of Underwater Photography (BSoUP) members and others.
SPEAKERS
You’ll find a powerful line-up of diving presentations not only on the Centre Stage but in the two Ocean Theatres where DIVE 2015 exhibitors share their wares in depth, especially diving destinations. The full DIVE 2015 Speaker line up will be released soon.
