Subgear Sector 7 & 5 LED Dive Lights
Powerful Pistol-Grip Torches Light the Way in Underwater Illumination
Ask a diver what they want in a dive light, and the answer is really quite simple: scorching brightness and a bunch of burn time. Subgear’s new Sector 7 and Sector 5 pistol grip LED dive lights deliver both. These substantial torches are designed for night diving and deep diving, and they don’t mess around when it comes to delivering powerful bright-white illumination.
LED lights are the dive lights of choice among today’s divers, able to burn brighter and longer relative to the amount of power they expend. The Sector 7 is no exception. This pistol grip spotlight delivers real 700 lumens of light output with a single MaxBright LED lamp. Powered by eight C-cell batteries, the Sector 7 can provide four hours of illumination at regulated full power, with 30 hours of total burn time. The trigger switch is easy to use with gloved hands; a half pull provides momentary illumination, a full pull provides constant illumination. The trigger can be locked out to prevent accidental activation and battery drain while in storage. Depth-rated to 100 meters (330 feet), the Sector 7 weighs just over 1kg with a full complement of batteries.
The Sector 5 is a more compact version of the Sector 7. Powered by four C-cell batteries, it produces a real 550-lumen beam, providing three hours of illumination at regulated full power and 24 hours total burn time. Offering the same pistol-grip styling and trigger system, the smaller Sector 5 weighs only around 700g when loaded with batteries.
Real Lumen
When it comes to evaluating a dive light’s brightness, measuring lumens is the easiest and most useful comparison method. A lumen is the intensity of light as it is perceived by the human eye.
Subgear tests all lights in a calibrated integrating sphere and can therefore, guarantee real lumens.
Both dive lights are now available at authorised Subgear dealers.
RRP
Sector 7 £139
Sector 5 £109
