PADI wins TAUCHEN Award for Best Diver Training Organization for 21st year
PADI® has been recognized by TAUCHEN Magazine and its readers as the best diver training organization for the 21st consecutive year. Each year, for more than two decades, readers of the popular German diving magazine, TAUCHEN, are invited to vote for their favorites in 17 different industry categories. With the magazine focusing on dive travel, equipment and industry news, categories include equipment, dive shops and diver training agencies.
This year, the TAUCHEN Awards were presented on 24 January 2019 in conjunction with the BOOT Show in Düsseldorf, Germany.
“We’re extremely proud and honored to have been awarded the prestigious TAUCHEN Award for Best Diver Training Organization again,” says Mark Spiers, Vice President of Training, Sales and Field Services for PADI Europe, Middle East and Africa. “This would not have been possible without the continued hard work, professionalism and dedication of the PADI Members and the continued loyalty of PADI Divers.”
The bronze dolphins awarded for each category winner are highly coveted in the diving industry. PADI has been the unwavering favorite diver training organization, taking home the bronze dolphin statuette for the category every year since the award’s inception.
“Thank you to TAUCHEN Magazine and their readers for recognizing PADI as the world’s Best Training Organization for the 21st year,” says Spiers. “I would like dedicate this award to PADI Members across the planet, whose expert diver training and professionalism keep PADI as The Way the World Learns to Dive. Together, we are PADI, and a global force for good.”
