Award winning photographer and author of ‘Cool Waters|Emerald Seas’ John Collins has teamed up with UK based tour operator Oonasdivers to offer an underwater photo and video workshop at Marsa Shagra in Egypt next year.
Running from the 9th – 16th September 2015, John will be offering photography and video workshops at Red Sea Diving Safari’s eco-village Marsa Shagra. For this 5-day workshop, John plans to offer a combination of photo and video instruction. This is suitable to a wide variety of divers, from those with entry-level compact cameras right through to DSLR-experienced photographers and those starting out with GoPro action cameras. The content of the workshop would be adapted to fit the experience and needs of the group, and a broad outline would be modified to suit as the week progresses. John already enjoys running these successful courses and the instruction is an easy-going coaching style, with an emphasis on working with participants’ existing knowledge and skills and building on it.
Marsa Shagra benefits from an extensive and diverse house reef with hard and soft corals of offshore quality. Previous guests say these villages are the best value and all-round diving experience you will find in the Red Sea.
Marsa Shagra is suitable for all levels of qualification from non divers to instructors – there really is something for everyone.
The price for the workshop is £1,065 and includes flights from Gatwick, transfers, 7 nights full board in a tent, 5 days diving and the photography course with John. Accommodation upgrades may be available. If required an extra days diving can be added for £35.
