Introducing the new Scubapro S620 Ti: The Regulator (R)evolution Continues
Since its introduction in 2001 and through four generations of design evolution, Scubapro’s high performance S600 has earned a reputation as one of the most successful regulator designs in diving history. Now, after 15 years of honored service delivering some of the best breathing performance of all time, the innovation in S600 second stage design has reached a new level. It’s called the S620 Ti, and it is destined to become Scubapro’s latest best seller.
The new S620 Ti has a long list of design features guaranteed to enhance a diver’s underwater experience. Offering improved work of breathing (37 percent lower breathing effort than the S600) in a smaller and lighter package, the S620 Ti is built tough: you’ll find a corrosion-free titanium barrel inside a rugged reinforced technopolymer case and front cover with a new, larger stainless steel frame reinforcement.
The S620 Ti is equipped with full user adjustments, including a new high-grip inhalation effort control knob (rubber sectors are co-molded on the knob to provide the best grip, even under slippery conditions) and a VIVA switch with updated ergonomics that allows for better grabbing and easier adjusting (high-grip co-molded rubber is incorporated into this switch as well). The purge button activates with a lighter touch, and the new flow-engineered exhaust tee does a great job of diverting bubbles out of your line of sight while substantially contributing to the S620 Ti’s lower work of breathing. A new Compact Hi-Flow mouthpiece, mounted on an enlarged mouthpiece pipe, improves comfort plus increases airflow for easier breathing.
Beyond superb performance and functionality, the S620 Ti just looks good. Stainless steel cosmetic parts blend with the sleek styling.
