Inon announce GoPro HERO7 Black lens mount compatibility

INON INC. has announced that the existing SD Front Mask for the HERO5/6 is compatible with the HERO7 BLACK.

As the camera lens is identical with previous GoPro® cameras, performance (angle of view and depth of field) through INON attachment lenses below remains the same as the performance of using those lenses attached on HERO6 BLACK/HERO5 BLACK. (*2)

As compatibility with the new HERO7 BLACK has been confirmed, the product name of the existing SD Front Mask has been changed as below.

(*1) The HERO7 SILVER/HERO7 WHITE is not compatible with the GoPro® genuine dive housing Super Suits.

(*2) Though the HERO7 BLACK offers advanced video stabilization “HyperSmooth”, the angle of view is the same as with the previous HERO6 BLACK with its video.

Nick and Caroline Robertson-Brown are a husband and wife team of underwater photographers. Both have degrees in environmental biology from Manchester University, with Caroline also having a masters in animal behaviour. Nick is a fellow of the Royal Photographic Society in underwater wildlife photography and he also has a masters in teaching. They are passionate about marine conservation and hope that their images can inspire people to look after the world's seas and oceans.
