Great Northern Dive Show announced for 2017
Wigan-based H2O Divers, the organisers of The Great Northern Dive Show (TGNDS) which took place at Event City in Manchester back in April, have announced that the regional event will once again take place in 2017 – and they have promised that next year the show will be bigger, better and full of surprises.
One of the stand-out features of this year’s show was ‘The Aqua Theatre’, which the organisers say is the largest portable open-windowed tank in the world. The Aqua Theatre, which has been used in many major films, TV shows and events, will return next year, and will once again be frequented by beautiful mermaids and technical divers demonstrating their skills to the show’s visitors.
There will be a fashion show where manufacturers and distributors will be able to show off all their latest dive gear (Beauty pageant fans will no doubt be pleased to hear that Miss Lancashire has already been confirmed as one of the fashion show’s models).
There will be a whole host of speakers on the main stage from the world of diving and marine conservation to captivate the audience with thrilling and informative seminars. Speakers confirmed so far include Chantelle Taylor Newman and Gareth Locke, with many more to follow.
Next Year’s Great Northern Dive Show will take place at Event City on the weekend of the 8th – 9th April. Tickets to the show will cost £8.00 for adults if purchased online before the show or £10.00 on the door. Tickets for children will cost £5.00. It is yet to be announced when tickets will go on sale.
No word yet on whether Batman will return for next year’s event.
