Enter your BSAC club for the Community Sport and Recreational Awards 2017
Is your BSAC club making a difference in your community? Then the Community Sport and Recreation Awards 2017 want to hear from you.
Organised by the Sport and Recreational Alliance, the awards aim to recognise and celebrate grassroots sports and recreational groups around the UK.
The 2017 awards are free to enter, with four award categories and the winners will receive £1,000 for their club.
This year’s award categories are:
- Professional Community Programme of the Year
- Volunteering – sponsored by Join In
- Added Social Value – sponsored by Substance
- Innovation
BSAC’s Severnside SAC scooped the Innovation award back in 2015, with their SS Baygitano adopted wreck project.
On winning the award, Severnside’s Nigel Braybrooke said: “It was a huge honour to be presented with the award and to have diving recognised alongside traditional sports such as football, rugby, ice skating.”
Application forms should be received no later than 30 April 2017 and the winners will be announced in July.
