Qualified divers who want to improve their underwater experience should sign up for the Scuba Yoga Retreat at True Blue Bay Boutique Resort in Grenada. Being held from 6-13 July 2019, the retreat enhances underwater confidence and buoyancy as well as helping divers to improve their breathing techniques.
The Pranayama yoga practice includes breathing exercises to strengthen lungs and improve breathing with continuity while meditation provides a positive mindset to ensure the best experience underwater.
The programme includes six yoga classes in the resort’s Sankalpa yoga studio and the swimming pool, and six scuba dives.
There is also the opportunity to snorkel around Grenada’s underwater sculpture park, enjoy a spa treatment, take part in a local cooking class and participate in a guided meditation.
With over 40 dive sites in clear waters, Grenada is increasingly popular with divers. The programme is being run in partnership with Aquanauts Grenada that has a dive shop on site at True Blue Bay, making it the perfect base for divers.
At the end of the week, participants will receive a Scuba Yoga Diver certification.
Just Grenada (tel: 01373 814214, www.justgrenada.co.uk) offers a 7 night package from £2290 per person, based on two adults sharing on a full board basis, including the Scuba Yoga programme, return flights from Gatwick and return airport transfers.
