Celebrate British diving at ScubaFest Cornwall
ScubaFest Cornwall is just under three months away – so make sure the 3rd to the 5th May is in your dive diary and kick start the 2014 season the Pentewan way!
For three days over the Spring Bank Holiday – Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th May 2014 – scuba divers take over the Pentewan Sands Holiday Park , near St Austell, to dive, meet, socialise, and have a good time.
Organised by the Scuba Industry Trade Association (SITA), there will be shore diving, RHIB diving and hard boat diving available for divers and groups. And, with a fantastic beach at Pentewan and free launching courtesy of Suunto, dive clubs are also encouraged to bring their own RIB and make the most of the whole weekend.
Plus, there is a host of other activities going on to keep divers and their families entertained, including:
- Free try dives with BSAC
- Rebreather tasters and diver workshops
- BSAC Beachcombing sessions down on the beach
- The divers’ ‘Toy Town’ feature, bringing together manufacturers such as Suunto, Apeks, Typhoon and many more
- Evening entertainment, including live bands and karaoke
Accommodation – including static caravans, camping or caravan pitches – should be booked directly with Pentewan Sands Caravan Park – call 01726 843 485 or go to www.pentewansands.com.
Quote ‘ScubaFest’ when booking to make sure you are registered for giveaways over the weekend.
