BSAC offering free Dive Leader lectures at LIDS 2015
Are you a BSAC diver that’s looking to start or progress your Dive Leader training in 2015? Then BSAC and the London International Dive Show can help.
BSAC will be providing training lectures at this year’s London International Dive Show (LIDS), focusing on key modules from the Dive Leader grade.
The lectures will be available on a pre-bookable basis and will held at London Excel on Saturday, 14th February 2015. All students attending one or more of the lectures will also receive a free ticket* for the London Dive Show..
Sports Divers with the relevant Dive Leader training materials can pre-book on a selection of lectures from the current Diver Leader syllabus. These lectures will then count towards their final Dive Leader qualification.
Lectures available on Saturday 14th February 2015
- DT1 – Role of the Dive Leader
- DT8 – Dive Planning workshop (two sessions in small groups)
- DT12 – The role of the Dive Manager
- Personal Development Plan workshop
These lectures are free, but places are limited. You can book a place online now here.
Once you have registered and allocated a place, BSAC will then provide full joining instructions on the lectures. Eligible students who have not yet bought their Dive Leader Training Pack will need to speak to their branch Training or Diving Officer to obtain a pack prior to the lectures on the 14th February.
*Free ticket is for access to the London International Dive Show only. More information about LIDS 2015 and the range of ticket options, click here.
